Tom Higgins

I was born in Markham, Ontario in March of 1993, and have spent the majority of my life in rural Ottawa. I am currently a third year student in the International Business program at Algonquin College, with plans to articulate to Ottawa University for Commerce upon completion of my diploma.

With the hopes of future travel, and a hatred for the student loan system, I work fulltime for AC Nielsen, as well as infrequent contract work during the school year. Sleep is often sacrificed.

Interests include sports (soccer, rugby), community work, cooking and writing. My next endeavour will be to learn japanese, before travel, as the culture is completely endearing to me. I am also an avid reader, with a few of my favorite authors being David Mitchell and Hilary Mantel.

Experience includes captaining provincial soccer and rugby teams, and sales team lead.
