I am a REALTOR focused on taking the extra time to understand the needs and wants of each individual client. As a student of demographics, I have focused on comprehending the varied values and differing needs of each generation, from seniors to the echo boomers. I have served on the Seattle-King County Advisory Council on Aging and Disabilities and I am certified as a Seniors Real Estate Specialist. I understand the unique needs of our seniors as well as anyone with differing abilities. I am an active advocate for changing the way we design and build housing for the coming decade. As a charter member of the Northwest Universal Design Council I have promoted education for consumers as well as the building industry in building an environment without barriers regardless of a person’s abilities. It is my contention that designing homes that can adapt to our changing lifestyles is as essential a component of sustainability, as any other “green” practices.
