Tom Murdock

I follow an educational tradition shaped especially by my father, Jerald Murdock, who pioneered secondary math instruction using data visualization and graphing calculators. I'm also inspired by the Great Books methodology of shared inquiry; the social constructionist underpinnings of Moodle; the just-in-time learning of Outward Bound/NOLS wilderness education; and writing workshop/art studio conversations between makers. I try to move organizations towards reflective habits, scaffolded knowledge and resonant leadership.
