Tom Scarda is a dynamic speaker and author of The Magic of Choosing Uncertainty. Tom is someone who is not content with a status quo life and has not been afraid to change. More than two decades ago, searching for his inner drive, Tom left the mainstream world of college and submerged himself in the motorcycle underworld. It was the first time Tom chose uncertainty.

After four years of motorcycle gang life in NYC, Tom obtained a respectable job as a NYC Subway Train Conductor. Realizing that civil service was not the answer for his creative side, he gave up promotions and a pension, to pursue his dreams of business ownership. In 2000, he bought a franchised business. Tom built his franchise into three units, sold it in 2005 and semi-retired at 41-years old.

Everyone has a passion sleeping within his or her soul. Tom’s mission is to help people harvest their own passion for the betterment of the world. Tom inspires people to surf on the edge of their comfort zone and choose uncertainty over unhappiness.
