I grew up in the Chicago area and have lived in several areas of the U.S. My perspective is that every area and culture has its own beauty and value and you just have to find it.

I love, love, love to travel. We have hiked the Grand Canyon 4 times, including the first time in the fog! It is truly an awesome spectacle and should be on everyone's bucket list.

Equally attractive, though, are trips to the major cities of the world like New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Paris, London, Rome and Brussels. Great food and art are always a treat in cities like this.

Life is too short to not go explore!
