Growing up firmly within the internet age, it has been easy for me to get inspired by the future.
Designs for products and closed-loop systems borrowed from nature. Re-localised manufacture driven by 3D printing technologies. Transitions to preventative and personalised healthcare. Robotic automation, enabling humans to transcend traditional notions of labour-for-income. And sensor-driven management of a more efficient, sustainable and connected world.
From learning about such ideas, and many more besides, I have been inspired to use engineering and design to change the world for the better; to create positive social change, and long-term environmental recovery.
But first, I'd better get my degree.
