Tom Bradley

I've been working as a photographer since 2009.

By chance I started off photographing leprosy, and those first 6 weeks at a leprosy hospital in Nepal have grown into an on-going worldwide documentary: Leprosy Eliminated? and other stories.

Since then I have lived and worked in 11 countries (predominantly west African) photographing leprosy and other subjects that have grabbed my interest or been assigned to me by editorials, NGOs or local organisations, including, among others, The New York Times, American Leprosy Missions, WWF, Action on Armed Violence, HEAL Africa, Mercy Ships (see my website for more details).

My aim is to complete the leprosy project in 2014, so that I have a body of work that can inform, move and engage people with the much-ignored but fascinating subject of leprosy.

Photography is my work, but it is also what drives me. I take great joy in making a great photograph.

I'm based in the UK in Gloucestershire and London. I'm available to take commissions worldwide.
