Tom Gaskin

A graduate of Michigan State University, Tom Gaskin began his media and advertising career in 1978, as a sales associate with the Toledo Blade. He left The Blade to work for The Lansing State Journal. During his four-year tenure with the company, he served in the retail sales division of the Lansing State Journal and in the advertising sales departments of Gannett Newspapers' Detroit and Chicago offices. In 1984, Tom Gaskin joined the Times Mirror Newspapers as an account executive, directing sales efforts for titles such as the Los Angeles Times, the Hartford Courant, and New York Newsday.

Over the next two decades, Tom Gaskin developed expertise in multiple facets of media and advertising sales, through leadership positions with major corporations such as Time Inc and Turner Broadcasting. From 1995 to 2000, he held several positions for the Hearst Corporation, including national automotive director for Good Housekeeping. In this role, he coordinated the Women’s Automotive Satisfaction Award.

Most recently, Tom Gaskin has served as a regional director for Cox Digital Solutions, one of the nation’s leading digital marketing and advertising companies.
