I am a Professor of English at Tidewater Community College in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

My research interests are electracy, rhetoric, visual rhetoric, composition, sonic rhetoric, podcasting, pedagogy, and digital storytelling.

I'm the editor of Inquiry, the peer-reviewed scholarly journal for faculty and staff of Virginia's community colleges.
