Tom Grissom, Ph.D.
Dr. Tom Grissom specializes in the practical applications of technology, instructional design, and new media for the improvement of the teaching and learning process. He is a recognized leader in the area of educational technologies and technology planning. Dr. Grissom is the Director of the Instructional Technology Center in the College of Education & Professional Studies at Eastern Illinois University. An avid podcaster with over 175episodes of the TechTalk4Teachers podcast produced and the creator of the EIUITC Youtube channel he regularly shares his insights and how-to videos about how technology is changing the way we teach and learn.
Dr. Grissom has many interests and is involved with many hands-on and minds-on activities. Besides education - farming, woodworking, photography, gardening, and living the country life are just a few of his other passions.
