Tom Haughton

Tom Haughton serves as the Vice President of Thorwin Properties, a Winnipeg real estate company that provides quality multi-family homes that people are proud to call home. Currently owning and managing 1,400 apartment units in the city, Thorwin Properties strives for industry excellence when it comes to purchasing, renovating and proactively leasing homes.

Tom Haughton earned his Bachelor of Commerce in 1996 from the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, where he graduated with honours. Since 1997, he has worked extensively in management positions and brings a strong work ethic to Thorwin Properties.

Tom’s professional background, moreover, has helped him develop strong skills in human resources, business operations, coaching and development, customer service, procurement, data processing, sales and marketing, business development and finance.

Prior to leading Thorwin Properties, Tom worked as the CEO of Global Drug Supply, a midsized international business corporation based in Barbados. During his six years with the company, he helped to create, build and train a solid management team before eventually returning to Canada.

Tom is especially proud of the values upheld by Thorwin Properties, ones that he lives out daily and that include: respect, accountability, forward thinking and teamwork. He also values being a lifelong learner and has been committed to ongoing skill development, having completed coaching sessions, self-development seminars and more in an effort to enhance his professional proficiency.

As a father of three, Tom is committed to his family and also supports a variety of charities including the Winnipeg Humane Society, Lighthouse Mission, Agape Table, the Canadian Cancer Society and more.
