Tom Holsteen
Acquisitions Editor and Researcher in Louisville, KY
I'm an acquisitions editor with B&H Academic. I help bring to audiences books that advance the conversation in theology, biblical studies, history, philosophy, and practical ministry. Before coming to publishing, I spent nearly a decade working in higher education.
I'm also a doctoral candidate (ABD) at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, studying the history of Christianity in the Latin West in late antiquity. My research interests include Augustine, patristic exegesis, late antique philosophy, identity formation in the early church, catechesis, and the boundary between church and world. My dissertation is “Rest in Augustine’s Theology.”
I am active in: the Evangelical Theological Society, the Institute for Biblical Research, the Society of Biblical Literature, and the North American Patristics Society.
