Tommy Nichols
Tommy Lee Nichols is the President and CEO of Glorified Media, A media marketing company that creates, promotes and manages media based assets. Mr. Nichols’ gift is to take concepts, vision and ideas and manifest tangible results. As founder of the Charlotte Black Film Festival he created “Pitch Me” and “The Vision Awards”. His expertise is rooted in undergraduate studies at Wilberforce University, a graduate from the National Federation of Entrepreneurship, The Artist as an Entrepreneur, in Charlotte and extensive training at the Hollywood Film Institute, in New York, which boasts Quentin Tarantino and Spike Lee as graduates. Mr. Nichols is a twenty-year Technology and Media Entrepreneur. He has secured and managed a 1.2 million dollar technology upgrade for the Department of Defense, and a 10 million dollar district wide computer and network integration for BDM/Dayton Public Schools. He was the Director of Photography for the movie, “Johnny, Mattie and Smooth White Stone, II and III,” shot in Ripley, Ohio and Ontario, Canada. Tommy has empower more than 700 youth in the areas of media and technology and has written and directed 4 stage plays. His experience and reputation among the community have earned him “The Business Journal’s 40 under 40” and “The YMCA Black Achievers” awards to name a few. His professional efforts have been featured on TV, in numerous newspapers and Magazines. He contributes his success to his faith, hard work, and being a cheerful giver.
