Tommy Smith

Mr. Smith is an Executive Protection Specialists, who completed his executive protection training with Modad Threat Management Solution (MTMS). Mr. Smith also operates as an independent contractor for BPI security, specializing in close-in protection, route planning, protective driving operations, protective advance work and workplace violence. Mr. Smith has been under the constant mentoring and tutoring of Mr. Eric Konohia, President of BPI Security for approximately one (1) year. With over 10 years of experience in the security field, with tenures ranging from a state certified corrections officer, where he was employed over 5 years and served as a team leader of the Rapid Response Team (R.R.T.) to working as a Loss Prevention Supervisor (LPS) for Marriott International. Mr. Smith currently holds a position with Miami-Dade Transit as a Transit Officer, where he has been employed for 2 years, ensuring the safety and security of all passengers that utilize public transportation. Mr. Smith is well versed in executive protection and security procedures as well as the discretion associated with it and understand the importance of a clients privacy.
