Tommy Sullivan
Mobile, Alabama
I'm a soldier, a father, a husband, a son a brother and a friend. I've been blessed to be all of the above though some were harder to do than others. I retired with 20 years in the Army in 2009. I'm married to my best friend and the strongest most wonderful woman I've ever met.
I joined the military because my parents couldn't afford college. I knew it was the only life I would be succesful at, so I gave it my everything. I'm a Gulf War Veteran as well as an Uphold Democracy vet. I am an airborne ranger, an ex Golden Knight with the Army parachute team and a jump master. I've been through Pathfinder, SERES, Airborne, Advanced and Basic Non Comissioned Officer, Military Instructor course as well as the RASP. I've been awarded Army Achievement, Commendation and Meritorious Service medal as well as the Distinguished Member of the Ordinance of Samuel Sharp Medal. I started out as a lowly private and busted my A** to make Sergeant First Class. I began working on busted ol Army trucks, and became a part of Special Operations working in the medical field, infantry and combat search and rescue, while getting my EMT License in the civilian world. I've made over 3500 sky dives both alone and carrying a tandem passenger. I've seen this world at 30,000 feet in the air as well as over 100 feet deep in the ocean. I have extensive knowledge of military weapons as well as weapons and explosives training.
I am hoping that with my experiences in the military as well as my teaching, counseling and advising veterans as well as enlistees', I can offer my knowledge to the film industry and educate others as to the military life, duties and challenges.
In the last 20 years my service to this great country is only one of my proudest acheivements.... I'm married to the love of my life. We are the proud parents of 9 children with our first grandbaby on the way. I truly believe I am more blessed than I deserve.
