Greetings, As an Entertainer and Vocalist (with a 4&1/2 octave range) for, coming up on 41 yrs... I can look back and say. "Wow! What a ride". I have been privileged to play and sing with some of the best Players & Entertainers in the NW. With the help and support of that level of professionals,I took my shot at the Music/recording industries. Recorded a few songs and opened for many,"Stars" Garth,Clint black,Charlie Daniel's, and some of my favorites,Dolly Parton and Nell Carter. I've worked, sang, or shared Billing, and even some quiet after Gig heartfelt moments, talking about How hard it can be to live you're life in so many "no-tell" Motels, Casinos, and band rooms that you really do forget what town you're in. "If it's June than this must be Minnesota, or is it May and this is Weyburn, Saskatchewan. I finally gave up the road, and some ambitions, to start a family. I married & raised two children and now,Divorced. I'm a Grandpa. i have been asked many times why I would Just stop and sort of go home. But if you've spent any time on the road,Military or other work its not hard to see how lonely that life can be. when I see my Children or Grandchildren. I know that I would do it again if I could. And as if to prove that lifestyle matters, At 45 yrs. old I had not one, but (so far) three strokes. The reality is. In all my yrs. on the stage. I have yet to see a three legged Entertainer. So I have a hand full of students and teach some Voice/breathing Lessons and try to enjoy a significantly slower lifestyle. And that,as they say, is that. It has been a Hell of a Ride and I still don't know how to get off. Although most of my friends would have no trouble telling me. Almost 50 Yrs. to come full circle back to the Willamette Valley. Back to where it all started. For the record. If given the choice.I would do it all again. Except the Disco,i still hate Disco,Drum machines, and sequencers. "live! music is were it's at" peace, out.
