Tom O'Leary

Tom is currently Head of Public Engagement and Learning at the UK Parliament where he leads a variety of programmes and initiatives to engage people with the work of Parliament. Right now Tom is working on the TEDxHousesofParliament event and the second year of a new(ish) national awareness week, Parliament Week, which happens in November 2012. Before this Tom worked at The UK National Archives (TNA) for 10 years in a variety of roles, finishing as Head of Online Services and Education. At TNA he was responsible for online, education and the museum. Prior to this Tom taught history to 11 to 18 year olds in the state sector. Tom is on the main board of trustees for Culture 24 and the RAF Museum, where he chairs the Education and Research Committee. He is also a Fellow of the RSA.
