I am an SC cleared Technical Specialist with an ITIL V3 in Service Management, so far I have had a developing and successful career which has provided me with a working knowledge of various functions, designs and experience operating from both field, support and management positions in diverse sectors both private and public, including governments, administration, outsourcing, housing & Olympic venues.
Over the years my experience gained has cultivated strong skills in communication, planning, organisation and problem solving, resulting in an in-depth understanding of desktops, laptops, HP Compaq, Dell and Fujitsu Hardware, including Vlan's, and project planning for migration and knowledge transfer's including deployment and testing environments.
I have also supported software for the disability network for government bodies for example the Ministry Of Justice and supporting functions.
I have worked on various projects throughout my career and I have liaised with 3rd parties such as eqanet, early life engineers, technical architects and program managers, this helped me roll-out to clients specification either supporting or managing the team and site.
I have trained engineers to ensure the correct configurations have been applied for dragon, jaws, i-zoom, supernova and overseeing engineers installations From my instructions and also creating a disaster recovery and contingency plan to ensure the service is always operational.
I have a good understanding of networking principles and a sound working knowledge of monitoring and technical support of ongoing operations, change and problem management processes.
I am customer-focused and have a pro-active approach to my work, in addition to being a good team player.
I have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and above all the ability and willingness to work hard and learn fast.
I have had the privilege of working as a Service Desk Manager and Technical Manager for the 2012 Olympics which was a challenging role which involved setting up the nerve center and ensuring services stayed operational with my roaming team behind me.
