Tom Sandercock

I'm an Early Career Researcher in the areas of children's and young adult literature, gender and sexuality studies, and television and film.

I am the author of the forthcoming Youth Fiction and Trans Representation (2022) and have peer-reviewed publications in Journal of Gender Studies and Outskirts: feminisms along the edge.

I am passionate about examining how literary and cultural texts reflect and transform society, especially shared understandings of gender, desire, and the body.

I work as a lecturer and tutor at Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia.
