Tom Scearce

Tom Scearce is a sophomore student at Drake University studying Public Relations with a minor in Marketing. On campus, Tom is involved in an array of activities. He is the Features/Opinions Editor for Drake's student newspaper The Times-Delphic, Public Relations chair and proud member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity, Publicity Chair for the Society of Professional Journalists, and a member of the Student Alumni Association. Tom has previously worked as a reporter for "The Mash," Chicago Tribune's weekly teen newspaper. During the 2013-2014 school year, he worked as a Digital & Social Media Intern in the Drake University Alumni Office. He appreciated the opportunity to interact with esteemed alumni and hone his social media and public relations skills. During the summer of 2014, Tom worked as an Orientation Leader for Drake University helping the incoming freshman get aquainted with Drake University. Tom's other skills include social media marketing/branding, Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, graphic design, reporting and copy editing. When not writing, Tom can be found hanging out with friends, glued to his computer screen, or trying to find the next best restauraunt.
