Qualifications: An aspiring linguist who is innovative and highly strategic with a global mentality and a strong passion for international affairs.

Strong learning and independent leadership skills; recognized by professors, employers and peers for effective collaboration.

Exceptionally distinguished communication skills; able to peacefully interact, converse and comprehend people from a wide variety of cultures, as a result of studying in Spain, family in Italy, and traveling throughout Europe on several ocassions.

Proficient in research skills; has provided unique and thorough scientific, academic articles for many resources throughout the past several years.

Able to read and write (as well as provide translation services) in English, Spanish, Italian, as well as basic Euskera (Basque).

Will be graduating with a B.A. in December 2014 with a double major, degree: English linguistics and Spanish language.

Enrolled at NYU for Global Affairs.

Most recent employment included working with students and professors at a university in English and Spanish for college writing classes (both EAP students and ENC students).

Runs a photography blog for exceptional photographs that have been taken (see link below).

Volunteered at the West Palm Beach Housing Authority for people recently immigrating to the United States from Latin America.

Provided and conducted original research within the field of linguistics, regarding the aquisition of reading and writing skills in children in the United States versus countries in Europe and the detrimental effects of early literacy on the brain.
