Tonderayi Prosper Mageza is a Sustainable Business Development Professional and a PhD candidate in Management Science (Sustainable Governance and Finance) at the University of Innsbruck, Austria. He is a co-founder and director of a socially sustainable enterprise in Namibia and serves as a board member and expert consultant for several Organisations across Namibia and Austria. Among his international engagements, he contributed his expertise as a member of the UNESCO-UNEVOC Bridging Innovation and Learning in TVET (BILT) Expert Group. Tonderayi holds a Master’s degree in Innovation and Management in Tourism from the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences in Austria, with a specialised focus on Experience Design, eTourism, Business Artificial Intelligence, International Tourism Development, and Entrepreneurship. His academic work and research have been centred on harnessing climate finance mechanisms and artificial intelligence tools to advance sustainable development and enhance governance systems. Throughout his career, Tonderayi has collaborated with a wide range of Namibian and international organisations. He previously served as the Head of the Tour and Safari Association of Namibia. He worked as an animal and environmental science specialist at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, USA. A passionate advocate for sustainability, Tonderayi has dedicated his education, professional experience, and research to advancing sustainable practices in global business and governance systems. He is a seasoned public speaker recognised through numerous awards and scholarships. He has spoken and contributed at prestigious global platforms such as the European Forum Alpbach, Lucerne Dialogue, and the Future Hospitality Summit Africa (formerly AHIF)—venues that bring together emerging leaders, policymakers, and business visionaries to exchange ideas and foster impactful change.
