Toni the Tornado

When I was little, as in 5, I was a terror. My toys, books, dolls, games, and hair pieces would be the living room, dining room, basement, and sometimes kitchen floors. I taught my family how to shuffle step - place feet on carpet, don't lift, and inch your way through the house. I had a tough time obeying Mom as she asked me to pick up my stuff. Eventually, I would. Only to have it strewn about the house again within the next hour.

My two older brothers, trying to terrorize me as usual, nicknamed me with the alliteration "Toni the Tornado." Unfortunately for them, it didn't bother me a bit.

Today however, the tornado alley doesn't exist. Actually, I'm a clean freak. Just ask my roommates, coworkers, colleagues, parents, or friends. Color coding, folders, notebooks, binders, crates, and shelves coordinate my life's work.

If Annamarie weren't my middle name, Organization would be. Then my initials would spell T.O.R. and make the name of this website even more ironic.

Rather than continue to be damaging and destructive, I choose to be constructive instead. I love to build my experiences, be it professionally, socially, physically, educationally, you get the point. Thus, I'll discuss what I call my foundations of life - faith, family, farm, friends, food, and fitness.

Tornadoes are rated using the F-scale, which measure the intensity of the tornado based on the damage done and wind speeds. My life is whirlwind, so I have my own F-scale:

F0: Standard, Everyday Occurences.

F1: That's Pretty Neat.

F2: Let's Do That Again!

F3: Awesome!

F4: Pretty Tough to Beat This Experience!!!

F5: Wow. Indescribable. But I'll Sure Try.

Keep in mind, these are constructive levels, not destructive. Bear with me and enjoy. You’re about to become a storm chaser.

Great. Now I wish Mom would have named me Stormy.
