Tony Commisso is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years experience advising small and medium businesses in Australia. He retired from a Big 4 accounting firm, Deloitte, in 2006 where he was the lead partner in Canberra for Growth Solutions.

He is actively involved in industry organisations including the Australian Driver Trainers Association ACT Inc. where he served as President; Assocation of Country Service Centres where he served as Director; and in the past a National Councilor and Chapter Chair of the Institute of Arbitrators and Mediators in Australia (now known as The Resolution Institute).

He is an actively involved in community work including Menslink, Special Olympics, RYDA, Migrant Services and other organisations from time-to-time.

His business interests since leaving Public Accounting have included representing NRMA Insurance in Canberra, Queanbeyan, Cooma, Bega and Merimbula during 2006 to 2015 and NRMA Motoring and Services which continues.

He is a co-founder of My Driving Lessons Pty Ltd which operates learner driver education in Queensland, ACT and NSW. The company has a close association with the RACQ, RYDA, PCYC Inc and the University of Sunshine Coast.

He is also the CEO and co-shareholder of Driver Skills International Pty Ltd, a Registered Training Organisation, which provides post licence training to corporate clients and individuals. Specialising in qualifications suitable for fleet workplace health and safety requirements. Additionally, the RTO provides industry qualifications for driving instructors.

He is passionate about road safety and reducing accident rates among young drivers. Tony's work with MARRS in Canberra was a Community Road Safety Finalist in 2015. The businesses support local initiatives including working with Dealerships, Schools and Charities.

Tony founded Elpo Technology Pty Ltd a software development company focused on development of an end-to-end business management software solution for appointment based businesses. The technology underpins his driver education businesses. The software clients include motoring clubs and other large driving schools.

Tony continues to provide consultancy services to small and medium businesses in the areas of business development, risk management, litigation support, ecommerce and strategy.
