Tony Greenwood

Bolton

I am Tony Greenwood, an expedition leader and instructor.

I train, supervise and assess Duke of Edinburgh Expeditions, all the way up to 4 day Gold trips. I also deliver navigation courses to adults and youths, these are great fun to be on and if required can be assessed to the National Navigation Award Scheme levels.

My expeditions are long trips to Africa, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Vietnam and Cambodia taking schools for multiphase trips with World Challenge. Trips to the Italian Dolomites and High Atlas in Morroco are also organised every year.

My experience has been built up since leaving full-time employment with BT a couple of years ago. I now get out most days onto the West Pennine Moors, a much overlooked wild area of England.

A fully qualified mountain leader able to take people and groups into the UK mountains I would love to hear from you if you wish to join one of my Navigation courses, a intensive and personal few days training or perhaps a guided walk. Some of my favourite routes are in my blog, and I have a great understanding of the walks in the Lakes or Peak District.
