I've been banging away on a guitar for 50 years. Since I got my first horrible guitar at the age of 14, a $35 beater Harmony flat top, I have been working at my craft. I started playing music in clubs in the mid-1970s doing a solo gig in beach bars in Rhode Island. After finishing my master's degree in Ocean Engineering in 1982, I folded up my tent, packed my guitar, clothes and a few records and drove to the northwest where I have been ever since. I put down roots in Seattle and played music in various garage bands of different flavors. Western swing, singer songwriter stuff, dabbled in bluegrass, Cajun and gypsy. In 2004 I moved to Port Townsend, WA. I mostly play at swing and Jazz these days. And I am having too much fun!!
