In October 2013, I retired from my job in local government, where I worked as a product photographer. I am now involved in a long-term project called 'States Of Isolation', which is an umbrella title for all my photograhic work, journals, diaries and general writing. It's the most personal project I have ever embarked on, in a career that spans three decades. It is greatly influenced by the work of the american photographer, William Christenberry and will take up most of my working life from this moment on.
