Tony Almonte is an internationally known artist and musician, a man of many hats. He has adopted Montreal as his hometown for nearly a decade. Tony is a singer, songwriter, composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. He has recorded, toured and performed with acts such as Grammy winner Louie Vega & David Morales, Grammy nominee Sam Screnci from Quicksound, Bran Van 3000, Franky Selector & numerous other bands from Montreal.

In 2015 Tony hits the road, this time as TAPSOUL hitting up the North-Est coast performing important events like Canadian Music Week (Toronto) and Coca-Cola Concert series (Niagara Falls). Almonte also had the privilege of supporting acts on main instrument (percussions) with Tortured Soul, Kokolo Afrobeat & Jephté Guillaume from New York. Also seizing opportunities to perform with Dave Chappelle & Wyclef Jean of The Fugees at the “Just For Laughs” Festival last summer.
