Big Data is my passion and spend a significant part of my life working in the field. Be it data platforms, SQL, NoSQL, analytics, transaction processing, statistics, visualization – whatever. If it is related to the way that we store, use and understand information then it is my interest.

I am fortunate enough to work with some of the most interesting companies in data, be they new born start-ups or industry heavyweights who have laid many of today’s foundations.

I travel often, write frequently and speak at conferences and events. I am a proud father and patriotic ex-pat Kiwi.
