Tony Bourgeois

My name is Tony Bourgeois and I'm a journalism student at NBCC. It is amazing how often I have said those words in my time being a journalist in training but it often led to my favorite part of the job, getting the story and meeting the interview. I hope to work in radio some day, hopefully in the news room but honestly I have always respected the talk show guys. I love working with sound! Whether it's collecting sounds and interviews for a story or even just editing them together just right. Generally I'm not the best writer but I have come to embrace writing to radio and using my clips as best I can.

As a videographer I love interviewing people, trying to find the nuggets in their speech and going after them. I also have experience editing in Finale Cut Pro.
