The Senior Managing Director of KCK's investments in Financial Services, Tony Ettinger has established several successful firms over the past three decades. Early in his career, he Co-Founded C-BASS, a company that acquired and securitized certain residential mortgages. C-BASS was a major innovator in the securitization industry in that it designed 17 new types of mortgage asset classes for securitizations. In addition to C-BASS, Tony Ettinger was a Co-Founder of Sherman Financial, which specialized in purchasing charged-off credit card assets.
Before establishing himself in finance, Tony Ettinger enrolled at the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, where he earned his master of business administration in general management and strategic planning. Earlier, he secured his bachelor of arts in Mongolian history and economics and his Master of Arts in Economics from Tufts University.
Beyond his academic and business experience, Mr. Ettinger has participated in international relief work. In partnership with Secretary of State James Baker, he co-founded the Mongolian Children’s Aide and Development Fund, where he currently serves as chairman.
