Tony Frost

Congleton, Cheshire

My name is Tony Frost, and last year (2014), I officially became an OAP.

After a lifetime in the IT industry (well, the last 40 years), the later years as a freelance software developer, I have decided to hang up my coding pencil and spend more time pursuing some of the hobbies that have been side lined over the years, before I settle down with pipe and slippers..

I am married to my wonderful wife Christine, we have been together now for over 43 years, that's knocking up the mileage a bit. We have three lovely daughters, Sandra, Andrea & Julie and three great grandchildren, Philippa, Imogen & Georgina.

I love a day out walking, whether it's hills and dales or striding along cliffs looking out to sea. I'm a member of the local U3A (University of the 3rd Age) walking group. We set out most Tuesdays to walk in the Peak District, Staffordshire or Cheshire.

I have also indulged myself in another hobby of mine which is Painting and sketching, using different media. Again I am a member the local U3A Art Study group which meets up on a Friday.

I am also a member of our local church St Johns, Buglawton. This is part of Congleton_team_parish, comprising of four local churches.
