Tony Moreaux

José Antonio ”Tony” Moreaux Charon was born in Guantanamo, Cuba. His father is a Changüi singer in Guantanamo. Following in the footsteps of his father, Tony began his musical studies at the Regino E. Boti school in Guantanamo and later went on to study at the Esteban Salas music school in Santiago de Cuba and the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Denmark.
In 1998 Tony Moreaux started his professional music career in Havana, Cuba as a professional drummer with the group ”Carlos Manuel y Su Clan”. He is currently a member of the popular musical group Afro Cuban Allstars.
Tony Moreaux currently resides in Copenhagen, Denmark.
