Not sure why I picked this hobby, but it's what I like to do. (One benefit - It keeps my 'saw sharp' and I've been able to carry some of what I learn over to my professional life.) Some people like to unwind at night with a glass of wine and a little Netflix. Me... well...

My Goal: Use healthcare information to my health advantage. Then teach others...

So far, it's been an interesting journey.

First step: I created a free tool, HealthTag - 'healthier booking', to help people organize websites a little better through a "Getting Things Done" approach to booking websites.

After showing HealthTag to a handful of users, the feedback was to also provide a generic tool that can be used beyond healthcare.

While I have to admit, since I was ready to launch, it was difficult to hear. But I knew they were right.

Once I dusted myself off and refocused myself, I was determined to come up with a generic version of the tool.

Since it was a 'tool' to 'tag' and organize websites, I looked in the Thesaurus for similar words for tool.

Thus Tagizmo (tag gizmo) was born.

While I hope users find Tagizmo useful, my goal is to use their feedback to help expand the solution to support people with chronic conditions and help them 'use health information to their health advantage'.

HealthTag and Tagizmo have been very helpful for me. I hope you find it useful too.

If you know anyone that has a chronic condition, please let them know about HealthTag.

And of course, please feel free to spread the word about Tagizmo!
