Tony Parisi
I am an entrepreneur, consulting CTO and software architect. I consult with and advise bay area companies in developing social games, virtual worlds and mobile applications. I started and sold a few companies and I currently have a stealth startup. My latest area of interest is WebGL. 3D rendering is finally in the browser, and I believe it will unleash a democratization of 3D development, especially for games but also for a wide variety of other applications. I co-chair the San Francisco WebGL Meetup. Right now we’re enthusiasts, but real soon we may be part of the next wave of Web 3D development. A while back I co-created VRML, the first standard for 3D on the web, and its descendant X3D. I can’t get 3D out of my blood. I hope it will continue to pay off for me, personally and professionally.
