Hello! I’m Tony. I’m a 4th-grade English, Reading, and Writing teacher living in Blackshear, Georgia. I am an avid reader of anything I can get my hands on, but am particularly fond of anything written by Pat Conroy and Stephen King, and also have a deep love for literacy and young children. I love to write fiction for young readers, have published a young readers novel, and also write fiction for classroom use in teaching literacy. I love to stay abreast of the latest research and research-based strategies for teaching literacy, and spend inordinate amounts of time developing lessons to create avid readers, foster a love for language, and inspire students to find value in their own words. For me, to say you do not like reading is to say you do not like breathing.
