Tony Sgroi

Tony Sgroi is a designer and builder of furniture and home goods. His favorite materials are wood, steel, and brass, but he hopes to incorporate more leather and concrete into his designs in the future. By day, Tony manages the production of 3D printers for Carbon in Silicon Valley. In a former life he served as a U.S. Army Infantry Officer in Iraq before joining Eaton where he was promoted from supervisor to Plant Operations Manager in three years.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from West Virginia University and an MBA from U.C. Berkeley Haas School of Business. Tony is most comfortable with sawdust in his hair and grease under his fingernails but cleans up nicely for special occasions. He can also be found in offices near coffee machines and white boards. He’s passionate about making beautiful things, learning new skills, continuously improving, and leadership.
