Tony Towler

With decades of experience helping business leaders set sound strategic direction, implement it, and achieve significant culture change for performance improvement, Tony brings proven methodologies and practical tools, backed by the academic rigour of a top-flight MBA, to help clients improve bottom-line results.

Tony's early career provided a rich diversity of work and life experience, in Australia and overseas, in public sector, not-for-profit and small business. During 11 years with IBM he led NQ operations, managed its certified contractors program in Qld and was a Strategy Manager for IBM Australia.

Over the past 20 years, Tony has delivered, led and directed an extensive range of successful projects for clients large and small, across many industries and all sectors (public companies, SMEs, government, not-for-profit).

For several years he has specialised in strengthening leadership and teams, from senior executives to front-line supervisors, and implementing culture-change initiatives. These have consistently resulted in significant bottom-line and other improvements for clients in a wide variety of industries from "Accommodation" to "Zinc", throughout eastern Australia, Indonesia, Fiji, PNG and in his home city of Brisbane.

In recent years he has also been a regular guest lecturer at the University of Qld, to final-year students embarking on professional-practice careers, in practical business leadership-management topics. He has consistently earned "excellent" ratings and feedback.

Tony's current passion is helping client organisations downsizing (or undergoing other significant change) to re-engage, re-unite, re-motivate and upskill leaders at all levels to “step up” to higher levels of performance needed to survive and prosper in tough times.
