Tori Ainsworth
Tori is a recent honours graduate from the Health Sciences program at McMaster University, where she learned valuable skills in collaboration, inquiry, and problem-based learning. She is passionate about the free exchange of ideas and information between people around the world, and believes that 'idea sharing' will foster a future that is rich with inspiration, opportunity, and equality.
Currently, Tori is undergoing a self-made career counselling and personal development program, through which she hopes to tap into various sectors of the corporate world, gaining valuable insight and experience, and creating connections with others who share her passions. In the near future, Tori hopes to narrow her focus and begin a meaningful career with a company that fosters personal development and ultimately strives to make the world a better place. Tori believes that her personal career path will ultimately be forged, not found.
Within the next five years, Tori hopes to gain valuable work experience, attain a graduate degree, network with interesting and like-minded people, and travel to new and exciting countries. Eventually, Tori would like to combine her passions, talents, and experiences into her very own environmentally-friendly, social-minded, innovative company. Tori's other long-term goals include becoming a published writer and inspirational public speaker (including doing a TED talk!). She would love to live by the beach, where she could surf every afternoon, practice and teach Yoga, and let her bull dogs run around freely.
Tori can be found hanging out at her local Yoga studios, trying out new restaurants, or playing her guitar (she's not very good - yet). She is obsessed with writing, dogs, vintage furniture, and anything that has to do with traveling.
