Tori Kozlowski
Ambitious public relations practitioner with a passion for music.
My passion for music started young, around four years old. I had a VHS of a Backstreet Boys concert that I would put on every day after school and pretend I was part of the band. I have a love for all music but my heart will always belong to Country. When I was young my aunt introduced me to Garth Brooks and the rest was history. I have been fortunate enough to be able to attend close to 80 concerts in my short 20 year life span. I have also had the privilege to meet some amazing musicians such as: Kacey Musgraves (pictured here,) Tim McGraw, Luke Bryan, Hedley and Nikki Sixx (Motley Crue.) In high school I always thought I wanted to be an entertainment broadcaster until I saw what it was like first hand. I then realized it was not for me. I have a friend who attended the Public Relations program at Durham College and recommended it to me. I applied to Both PR and Sports Administration and got accepted to both. I decided to go with PR, as it has a wider range of opportunities and I knew I could pursue something in music. Now I have four months of a full-time corporate field placement and then It's on to the real world. I have secured my placement at the Management Trust. The Management Trust is a music management company downtown Toronto run by Jake Gold founder and manager of The Tragically Hip for the first 17 years of their career. I hope to get a full-time position out of this placement and continue to further my knowledge and build a solid reputation to do everything I could ever imagine within PR and the music industry.
