A former tech headhunter turned serial entrepreneur, Victoria MacLean has become one of the most acknowledged female leaders within the Canadian startup community, both as a mentor and advisor to many early stage startups. She recently concluded a two year term as President of Startup Calgary, which she is credited for co-founding three years ago. She also previously co-founded As.so.ci.a.tion, a mobile product development business acquired in 2012, as well as AcceleratorYYC, a tech co-working and accelerator space in Calgary, on top of co-founding BeauCoo. She is currently part of the Alberta steering committee for Startup Canada, a member of the A100, and resides on the board of Startup Calgary.

In the last year alone, she has been featured in Forbes, Techcrunch and Mashable and has guest written for Huffington Post and Business Insider discussing both BeauCoo and technology. BeauCoo is a body positive style network for women of all shapes and sizes available on mobile and web. Digital Alberta recently awarded BeauCoo Best in Mobile Applications and Best Digital Startup for 2013 and the Financial Post quoted BeauCoo as one of 7 Tech Stars to Watch in Canada.
