– I’m the father of four wonderful twenty-something, living mostly by myself the past few years. But fortunate enough to have experienced love again!

Professionally I’ve been an IT advisor for more than two decades, specializing in business-driven data utilization and so-called EA, mostly serving heavier industries and infrastructure operators (within petroleum, utilities, power transmission and railroads). While I’m at work I care much about organizing information (key: applied semantics) and information security.

Outside work I care about living life among people (family, friends, others), our global environment …and too much other stuff.

Funny fact: I live and have lived at some beautiful places, causing me to travel by boat to go to work (for decades). Now I’ve skipped the boat routine, but won’t stop lingering near the waterfront.
