Welcome to Toronto Rhapcity! My name is Uriel Mendoza, and I am blessed enough to reside in one of the greatest cities in the world when it comes to musical talent.

Stroll into any one of our many venues—whether it’s the historic Horseshoe Tavern, the electric Mod Club, or the charming Rex Hotel—and you’ll never know what you’ll stumble upon. Toronto is a goldmine of undiscovered musical talent. My goal is to use this site to show my appreciation for artists who dedicate their lives to honing their craft, who aspire to inspire us, and who live for the music they create. I figure it’s the least I can do, considering how much they do for us.

This site will feature regular album and concert reviews, as well as interviews with up-and-coming local artists that you need to watch out for. My hope is that Toronto Rhapcity will become a tool to provide more exposure to unknown artists, as well as help music fans like you quench that insatiable hunger for new and exciting music.
