Rubén Torres

At his early ages, TORREGO Visual Artist (Painter/Sculptor) has started his art study.

When was 17 years old following his own aim moved to Mexico`s Capital, has joined CEA (Centro de Educación Artistica Televisa - DF).

Torrego started in Televisa his professional career as an Actor. In the Casa del Teatro gets his Degree as an Actor, at the same time Torrego could not stop feeling attracted to visual arts, and has started and completed his Fine Art studies at the Esmeralda Academy. At 23 years old Torrego almost left completely his acting career and started to dedicate almost exclusively to his Visual Art career.

Painting is where he finds his soul and real passion!

Since then has made more than a 100 solo and group exhibitions around the world in places as Ibiza, Spain, Mexico, United States, Brazil, Cuba, Canada, Argentina, Colombia, Germany, Korea, Puerto Rico, France, where his Art Work was very well recognized at the same time has always actuated as Art Professor.

Lots of collectors, Art Lovers have been seeing and appreciating Torrego’s creations.

In 2004 has started to add to all of his paintings an icon “The ARLEQUIN “ that became very famous and a mark of his work, receiving a notorious position on Art Magazines and Encyclopedias.

Torrego has returned to stage in 2004 acting in a Musical played in Brazil. In 2008 as Actor/Director he created TH Scenic being part and producing plays, arts performances and musicals, at this time has never stopped painting, playing in both of his passions, acting and painting.
