Tosh Burns
From 2004 to 2009, Tosh Burns acted as the Managing Director of Structured Credit Products for the European branch of the Bank of America. During this time, Tosh Burns developed a European Collateralized Debt Obligation (CDO) Origination as well as a structuring business for the company. Additionally, Tosh Burns organized an aggressive campaign to boost the Bank of America’s European profile. The campaign included ongoing press coverage in Euroweek Magazine and the International Finance Review, and several speaking engagements at major financial conferences throughout the continent. Prior to Bank of America, Tosh Burns worked with various London-based financial groups, such as Societe Generale, CIBC, and ABN AMRO Group. Tosh Burns also served as a lawyer for the International Securitisation Group of Clifford Chance and as a corporate tax lawyer for Thorsteinssons, a Canadian national tax firm. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from McGill University in Montreal; both a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Laws from York University in Toronto; and a Master of Law from the University of Oxford, Christ Church College in Oxford.
