Bill Monroe
Bill is a passionate advocate for the products he represents and believes in their ability to make people's work and personal lives better. He likes working working for Toshiba in part because he loves the products. Bill's latest initiatives include additional digital content creation and social media initiatives. Bill is an expert public speaker and an excellent writer. He brought his excellent public speaking skills to Toshiba, after 2.5 years with CompUSA, and is comfortable in front of groups of 2 or two hundred. Bill has been a remote worker since 1998. From his home office in Seattle, Bill has managed organizations of various sizes, from a team of two directs, to a team of 13 directs, to an outsourced field program of 50-100 people. Bill is a SharePoint advocate and uses it with his team to manage program operations, metrics, reporting, and scheduling. His SharePoint sites are often used as examples to introduce the platform to other users. He was an early adopter of WebEx technology to extend the reach and depth of the training team when travel was impractical. Within Toshiba, Bill was also an early adopter of OneNote and Tablet PC and is often recognized as an expert in those topics. In his time with Toshiba he launched Toshiba's CyberScholar program and the new Podcast training program for channel partners. Bill also travels extensively to conduct training and support tabletops and tradeshows.
