Tosin has written over 16 Research papers which have been published in several periodicals. His research works are keen to develop understanding and deepen knowledge on the concept of governance and it's impact on development for peaceful coexistence in Nigeria.

Tosin has a strong desire to hasten the reform of the Nigeria governance system along three main lines: Openness, Participation and Structures. A desire which was stimulated by PERL (Partnership to Engage, Reform and Learn) - a governance programme funded by the UK Department for International Development (UKDFID) which aims to make Nigeria Public office holders responsible, responsive and accountable to the people.

Beyond academics, Tosin had previously held the following positions at several Media and Non-governmental organizations: Broadcast Journalist, Nigeria Television Authority (Benin Zonal Network Centre); Editor-in-chief, Core Magazine Africa; Investigative Reporter, Bloomshire Media Nigeria; Columnist, Tuck Magazine; Director of Communications, Centre for Media Integration and Social Development; Columnist, Ekiti Glory Newspapers; Lead Editor, IAMBNPF Foundation.

Tosin holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) Degree in History and International Studies from Bowen University. He is a Masters Candidate for Diaspora and Transnational Studies, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He has researched, published in reputable national and international periodicals. Also, he has won several academic awards. He has a Certificate in Business Management and Competitiveness from Ahead Strategies, United Kingdom. A Certificate in Leadership, Governance, Elections and Human Rights from Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI) Network.
