Raised on a farm in southern Illinois, strong association with nature and simple living is my deepest way of being. I consider myself primarily a Simpler ... an Herbalist that most often works with one herb at a time, creating formulas with usually no more than three herbs in combination. My life has granted me tremendous diversity ... from government administrative positions, computer systems implementation, database administration, analytics, and hospital chaplaincy. With regard to the latter, it is work that fully engages the ability to be present for another, and I am blessed to have received full-immersion education in this arena. My nature is gentle and my heart carries the cup of compassion, thereby generating an ability to walk without judgment alongside those enduring the struggles of life, whether physical, emotional or spiritual, while simultaneously providing a level of peace to those in need of a listening ear.
