Chileans are legally allowed to reside and work in other countries without the need for special permission from the Government of Chile. They must apply for a visa before they travel outside the country. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issues all Chile Travelers Affidavit documents. These documents enable Chileans to travel to foreign countries and live and work without the need for a visa. They are also valid for three years and one year after the expiration of your visa.

Chile Travelers Affidavit differs for tourists and citizens of Chile. When applying for a visa for travelling to Chile, you must ensure that you are entering the country legally through an authorized agency. A passport and proof that you are a citizen of Chile will be required. Visitors visas can still be obtained by foreign nationals who aren't legal residents of Chile at the Consular office of that country. They can also use their flight tickets and other means to reach Chile.

The process of acquiring Chile Travelers Affidavit is easy. Before beginning the process, it is important to find out from Chile travel agencies if they require a visa before they issue a travel document. Many agencies won't issue visas. If they do issue a visa it will usually be for only a limited period. This means that once the period ends, you will not be eligible to apply for another visa.

Once you have determined that you will be entering Chile through an authorized agency, you should arrange for a meeting with a Chile immigration officer. You have several options to arrange for this meeting. These include calling the Chile Immigration Office, sending an email, or calling the office. Some people prefer to meet in person in order to give their visa information directly to the officer. It is fine to meet with the officer in person.
