By day, I'm an Administrative Law Judge, by night, I'm all about the food! Food is my passion, whether I'm trying out a new restaurant, delving into a cookbook or mixing up a cocktail. My mother was my first cooking instructor and it was from her that I developed a love and appreciation of foods--there's not much out there that I won't try at least once! From my mother, I learned the basics of good cooking. Everything she made was seasoned to perfection and I used to wonder how she was able to make simple things taste so good! I finally learned years later that she would always add a pinch of sugar to balance a dish. Although the dishes I make are not always my mother's dishes, I almost always use her signature pinch of salt, pinch of sweet method for seasoning and I'm always up for a food adventure!
